In WoW, the class of Warriors is considered to hold the first place when it comes to the tanking abilities and when it comes to their dps abilities, they also don’t lack. A Warrior is always welcome in any arena or PvP team, raid group or 5-man instance because of his good performance and ability to both tank and dps when needed. Warriors became even more popular and fun to play when the dual spec became available.
Playing a Warrior tank is definitely fun but after some time it can also become boring, because everybody likes a change once in a while. Now that you can choose a second talent build like the Arms and Fury talent build you can freely switch between the both of the specs without paying gold. With this kind of a setup you can easily gather two different types of gear – tanking and dps. With a dual spec you can easily gear up since you can change your build when needed, like for example switch to tank when a tank is needed or switch to a melee dps if a dps is needed or if you just want to grind or PvP a bit. It must be said that the Protection Warriors are favored by many because tanks can be rare on some servers.
Protection talent build would be your choice if you decide to become a tank. By placing your talent points on the Protection tree you will definitely build up your char to be a tuff tank. The Protection tree will enable you to increase your tank’s armor, stamina, shield abilities, threat, etc. which all will contribute in making you more capable while tanking in any raid or dungeon.
When it comes to increasing your Warrior’s damage, you will have Fury and Arms talent trees at your hand. Arms talent build is mostly preferred by the PvP players since it has many good PvP talents and a few very useful attacks, for example Mortal Strike, which will decrease the healing done on a target affected by it. The Mortal Strike has proven to be lethal for many arena teams and in PvP in general. The Fury talent tree has always been used strictly for PvE DPS purposes. Some players have complained that Arms Warriors are also better in PvE when compared to the Fury Warriors. However, this is something you need to see for yourself and try out. By choosing the Fury talent tree, you will be able to use some very nice attack abilities and you will be able to wield Two-Handed Weapons, which will not only highlight your character’s looks, but it will also make your class unique!
Warriors have been the backbone of civilizations through time and have always had a great purpose in battle. This amazing class in WoW is the only once that can equip all types of weapons. A Warrior wears plate and in the combination with a good shield he will be able to become a great tank and while equipped with two-handed weapons, a Warrior will be able to make a lot of damage.
